Today i was bored as hell and was smoking joint after joint not getting any higher. I was pissed off because last night i was out riding around with some friends and one of my idiot friends Adam got paranoid and threw my piece out the window. We searched in the dark for an hour and never found it. I was so pissed. So anyway i was pretty bummed because i just bought a half yesterday and joints just dont get me as high, and i didnt want to make a special trip just to buy a pipe so i was thinking about what i had in the house and in the garage. I went out to the garage and found some old 1 inch pvc elbows from when i had to fix some plumbing. I cleaned up the adjoining ends and cemented them together. While the cement set i looked through my old coffee can of various nuts bolts hooks and odds and ends. I found a copper piece off of something that was perfect for a bowl and it had the hole in the bottom already. I went through my drill bits and the 1/2 bit was the perfect diameter.
I drilled the hole right in the middle of my 2 pieces of pvc. I stuck my make shift bowl in the top of the hole and saw that i had to scrape the edges of the hole with a utility knife so it would sit in the hole but have a ledge so it didnt go all the way through the hole. So i did that and it fit like a glove. I didnt really want to cement the bowl in the pvc because i want to be able to take it out to clean it so i looked around some more and found some poster putty. So i just wrapped a thin strip around the bowl a few times and set it in there. Then i wrapped it some more and pushed it tight to the pvc and the bowl. Then i just had to put a screen in the bowl. After i did that i had to try it out, so i took 2 1/4 inch roaches, cut them open and packed the bowl with the roach weed, i put my mouth on the one end and my hand on the other end, no need for a carb....when the chamber fills i just have to take my hand off the other end. The first hit literally put my ass on the floor, i didnt need to hit it anymore but i did, i got 6 huge hits that has kept me stoned for 2 hours now. This pipe works better than any pipe ive ever bought in my life and it was way cheaper . It looks like this ( use your damn imagination)

the u is the bowl. I would take a pic but i dont have a digital cam . Just wanted you guys to know how to make a cheap great pipe. and it doesnt get hot. Now to complete it im gonna draw some trippy designs on it, Any suggestions on what i should name it ?

I'm a hot glass shaper and though that was a clever way to fix an emidate crisses we all know glass is ment 4 puffn'. i could help fix the glass shortege. @ a extremmly reasnobale $.

How about Deathtrap? Or, perhaps Thing I Wouldn't Ever Smoke Out Of? I don't mean to dump on your homemade pipe, I love making pipes out of stuff I find, but that stuff doesn't include PVC. Polyvinyl Chlorate is NOT what you want to use when making a pipe or a bong because the smoke(especially when heated) will cause the material to release toxins. I wouldn't make a habit of smoking out of this, hell, I wouldn't smoke out of it again, if I were you. Trash it, and make yourself a pipe out of something nontoxic.

Madglass you know if you talk to rick you could advertise on the frontpage. I believe its cheap too. You would be better off doing that.

not only will the pvc hurt, but so will the copper. PVC, copper, aluminum foil, and i belive corrugated steel are some of the most dangerous things you can use

dude im pretty sure copper is safe to use...hey do you know what kind of metal is used in Mag lites.

NO copper is NOT safe to use. Maglites are made out of aluminum, I believe. A pipe made from a maglite would kick ass! You could put the bowl in the depression for the button.

yeah i didnt know if it wa copper or brass that was safe to smoke out of (eh look the same). But i was thinking of turning my mini mag lite into a pipe (seing as its broke),by using the head as a bowl. I think ill try tonight once my parents leave.

1. Theres no evidence saying alum is bad or causes Alzheimers, heck isnt it made for cooking (keep in mind most stuff in over is hotter than 300 F)

2. Brass is good (copper+tin) Copper is bad, produces copper oxide (very good poison, not for you though) when it is heated (doesnt need to get very hot to produce vapors)
