First of all, sorry about making the umpteen-billionth thread about joints.

For some reason, I ALWAYS end up smoking joints. I have always had a bong while I've had marijuana, whether it was a cheapo acrylic or the 18" CCG one I have now. I'm pretty good at rolling joints or (making?) spliffs, and since I enjoy smoking outside I usually just bring a joint so I can eat it if the cops roll by. I bought a half ounce around 2 weeks ago and I smoked every single gram of it in joints. They aren't the most efficient way to smoke, but nothing beats a perfectly cherried joint that doesn't run at all.

The last joint I rolled with that sack was kinda skinny.. I had just gotten the sucker lit and I was puffing on it like a madman to make sure it cherried nicely. I still don't know exactly how it happened, but the joint slipped past my lips and went all the way inside my mouth and it didn't stop until it was entering my throat . Of course it went out, and I did a mixture of coughing/spitting so that the joint ended up in the dirt So my last joint from that bag was pretty much a dud due to user incompetence.

Anybody else here a regular joint smoker?

When I have both the weed (which is pretty much all the time) and a house free, I'll roll a joint. I went through a period a while back where I rolled nothing but joints, then I moved back to bowls and such, and then a little while ago I was back to nothing but joints. Now, since I'm out of papers and under 18, I might wait a while before starting another joint binge.

Joints are great, though. Definitely my second favorite method of smoking (bong).

i love joints...even more then bong rips. i like rolling really fat joints (regular sizzed zig-zags) and smokign them because i like how they burn slow.

I ususally smoke about a joint a day, sometimes more, sometimes less (with many assorted bowls as well). For road trips and stuff, thats all I'll take. They are also nice when you're outdoors, fishing, hiking, camping, and whatnot.....no need to load a bowl, clean your weed, etc. I love my bong, and I'm fond of my pipe, but joints definitely have a purpose.

all ive been doing lately is smoking joints. I have to say that I prefer bongs and pipes.

I have been smoking joints with 4 or 5 people and it just seems like a complete waste. I like smoking joints to myself or with one other person but it seems to me when too many people are smoking joints then nobody gets as high as they would like and a lot of pot is wasted.

again, this is just my personal observations. id love to know if someone either agrees or disagrees with me on this point.

Joints are fun to smoke to yourself or one other person. I like to keep pipes and joints for outside, bongs and bubblers for inside, and blunts for whenever wherever....

LOL....the law doesn't only cover joints....the same exact penalties will apply no matter what form the pot is in. Aside from that A) the law hasn't passed yet B) Passing a joint (or glass, metal, woodem, insert any type of paraphenilia here) can be constrewed as "marijuana distribution" under some state laws, as marijuana is being passed from one person to the next, therefore being "distributed". I don't know of any case being prosecuted that way, but the possibility certainly exists

I'm a pretty regular joint smoker. I'm a pretty good roller and can roll builds, tulips etc.

With a nice big build you can get the cherry going nice and take huge rips and it'll still be nice and smooth, whereas with a bong it's all about taking the hit quickly and more about getting high as hell quick. Joints are more relaxing and you feel the high coming more.

I tend to start smoking with joints then when I loose the ability to roll I hit the bong.

Im not a big joint smoker myself, mainly cause i cant roll that great. Although, i have been rollin up a few lately that havent been too bad. Normally though, i get frustrated and end up saying "**** it" and pack it in the bowl.
