Of course, I learned how to roll from the internet, which taught me to use roaches. This is how I roll a joint:

Take a paper and put some weed in it. Then I take a peice of printer paper, and rip a long strip off of it... like 3/4 inch wide and about six inches long. Then I roll it up, push the weed over to the right side of the paper, and put the roach there. Then I roll it up, lick it, then let it dry for a couple minutes. Then I tip it right side up, tap it on the desk to push the weed down, then I put more weed in through the top, tap it again, and twist the end. The printer paper doesn't actually burn, I just use it so it's easier to roll and hit.

Well one time I was going to smoke weed with my friend and his mom. So I rolled a joint like the one above. I went over to their house, and his mom took the joint, looked at the roach, and said "Wow... I've never seen that before". Then she ripped it out. I was laughing in my mind and thinking "wtf is she doing to my joint". Then she got a roach clipper and we smoked it with that.

Do you use roaches or are your joints just paper and weed?

Yep, I always use roaches in my joints. I usually use cardboard ripped from the paper packet though.

i actually never heard of doing that untill i saw it online. i still have never tried it out but it seems like it would be usefull and would get rid of trying to hit a little ass roach and burning your fingers and lips

Wait... you put a roach inside of the joint? I've never seen that.

I've ripped open a roach and added that herb to a joint a few times.

holy ****. please explain how you roach joints. surely not as a seperate entity sticking on the the end of the joint??

Damn, I knew some people would get confused. I don't mean "roach" by the rest of the weed in a used joint. When I say "roach", I mean... a mouthpeice. Like how cigarrettes have filters, my joints have roaches, just a little rolled up peice of paper to put in the end so it's easier to hold and hit.

well im from the u.k. we use the likes of zigzag card. (or rizzla, apparently rizzla is better cause it doesnt burn as fast as zigzag. just slip it in one side of the joint. tists the other. and i think joints are rolled differently in the u.s. do you not do some kinda of twist. we do three skinners. geuss yous can picture that. i have only seen joints beein done in american movies. not in real life. plus its usualy blunts u see in in movies. hope non you all use the same filters ciggaretes have. ooo, bad. u know the wee things people use if they roll tabbaco rather than fags.

I always use them, but I call them a "filter" even though they don’t filter anything. lol. but that’s what I always knew them as.

Now I have heard different takes on the matter. Some of my friends never use them, because they say some things do get caught in them, and you loose some of the "power" of the J.

But I always use them because I hate messing around with the paper opening, and it closing when wet. So I always use them, but some still swear that THC crystals get caught in the "filter" or roach or what have you...

hm.. me and my friends and everyone i've ever smoked with always called the little bit left of a joint, or a blunt a roach...
