We recently tried out a gravity bong.. got a big bucket, 3-liter bottle, big bowl and long stem, and ripped that thing... it was great, we all got ripped off one hit.

anyway, we were wondering how to make a homemade "forced induction" type smoking apparatus on the gravity bong method.

what if you took one of those water guns, the real simple ones with the long tube, and a handle at the end of the tube, you dip the tip into the water, pull back on the handle, sucking up water, then push the handle in, shooting the water out.. well what if you put a bowl on the tip of the gun, sucked the air out by pulling the handle, forcing smoke into the gun.. then removing the bowl and "injecting" the smoke into your lungs like a gavity bong? would that work? would it force enough air to make it a good ripping hit like a grav bong?

or we were thinking of making one with like one of those tube things at the top of glass doors like on your front door, when you open the door and let go, it slows the door down hydraulicly or whatever and keeps it from slamming.. well what if you had that and put a bowl on the end, pulled down on the stem, sucking smoke in, then injecting it out, same as before?


anyone tried this or have another contraption with forced induction like this? thanks

dude, i'm not sure what you're looking for. if you want water filtration or a classy looking piece, i can't helo you too much. but if you want something that will essentially force huge amounts of smoke into your lungs, look no further than this: get that 2 or three liter bottle that you used in the bucket, or whatever, and find a large plastic bag. Cut off the handles so you're left with just basically a sack without handles, and cut the opening where the handles used to be even around. Then, tape the opening of the bag to the outside of the bottom of the soda bottle, so that the bag forms an airtight seal with the bottom of the soda can. To hit it, push the bag into the bottle, and light the bowl as you pull the bag out and down. this expands the cavity inside the three liter bottle, just like the water does in a bucket bong. Finally, unscrew the bowl/cap, and push the bag back in, and you get a big hit. Then, start the process over again. oh, and if this is unclear, just tell me and i'll try to clarify it. hope this helps, and happy 4/20. later.

I dont need water filtration for this..

I think I didnt explain it right, when I was talking about the water gun and dipping it in water, etc. I was only describing the type of water gun I was talking about.

you know the water gun toys I'm talking about? they are just a long plastic tube, with a handle/stem/plunger thing inside, and you push the handle all the way in, dip the tip into the pool, pull back on the handle and it sucks up water like a syringe.. its basically a giany syringe.

well forget the water now, what if you took one of those guns (no water involved), pushed the syringe all the way in, put a bowl on the tip, had someone light the bowl while you pull back slowly on the handle, filling the gun chamber with smoke like a grav bong, then take the bowl off and inject the smoke into your lungs, like a grav bong.


its portable, cheap, don't have to mess with jury-rigging a homemade contraption, and it doesnt look like a smoking apparatus to cops or parents, just a water gun..

yah, i suppose that would work, however it would burn your weed really fast.

most results will have someone using a 20 oz bottle, making a hole in the bottom, and a bowl on the cap. fill it with water covering the hole with your finger, put the cap with the bowl on, light it and un cover the hole causing suction. once all the water is drained unscrew the cap and inhale.

my first and only gravity bong is a 2 liter bottle with the end cut off and placed inside one of those 2 liter juice round juice containers it works perfect and without water is the easyest thing to travel with its all plastic and doesn't look like a smoking device
