I suckat rolling, just because I have NEVER tried.... after 2 years of smoking either someone else ends up rolling it or we smoke out of a bong/pipe. I've seen enough people do it, I imagine I could, just need to try

1. It burns better. (no sidewinding)
2. It hits better. (much smoother than a normal blunt)
3. I think they look more impressive.
4. I can't roll a regular blunt to save my soul.

I know what you mean by "my people" yeah black people are the blunt kings...and plus lot's of us don't like bowls...I personally hate bowls it f**kin KILLZ my throat.. I was hitting a bowl with two white boys and that damn bowl made my throat feel like it was on straight FIRE!!!...I learned how to roll a blunt by watching other people...i can still remember the 1st one i rolled i was around some experts and the rolling job was SOOOOOOOOO Sh*tty i had enough weed to roll about 4 mores and that's how i got better....i made a terrible move though...i shouldn't have rolled them all at one time it made the weed all dry and the paper cracked putting holes in the blunts so i wasn't really getting that high.... All i roll is blunts but i will cut off half the paper and smoke to conserve the bud plus i get high just as much so it's all good.

Was it a small metal bowl or wooden bowl? I've never had a glass spoon heat up at all, unless three or four people were smoking out of it; then it gets a little hot, but not enough to actually burn my throat. Well, small glass bowls do get pretty hot after a few quick hits, but blunts/joints seem to burn my throat much more than a nice glass bowl

I do love blunts, but I couldn't smoke them all the time. They need a lot of weed, much more than i need to get high. I prefer bongs/bowls to blunts/joints, but I'll go on little runs with rolling, although usually joints. But for special occasions (4/20, birthday), there's nothing I like more than rolling a fat blunt.
