Someone help me. I have been trying to roll a joint here for like 45 minutes. I have taken apart cigs and am using the tobacco in them to practice. I cant get this stuff to stay compact and keep a cylindrical shape! It always turns out to be a loose POS wad of tobacco and paper. I hit the search button but the first 3 pages of the search came up with no helpful information other than what I have already read.

Why are my joints loose? Is there something with this tobacco that makes it so it doesnt form a cylinder?

buy a zigzag 100mm roller. they are like $5 on ebay. you will roll the best joint you've ever seen with it

I dont wanna have to carry that around with me, I want to learn to roll by hand

I just rolled the first few joints of my life this weekend, so I'll try to help.

I have EZwinders, and they're pretty damn wide (this seems to make it easier). Put the paper down, fill along the crease with a good amount of some MJ.

Pick up both ends of the paper, and lower the end without the glue until the top goes over the weed..... Sorry of that doesnt make sense.

Then put this little guy on a hard surface, and just roll it as hard as you can.... and lastly lick it down good....

Thats all I did and my first few joints came out fine....

dude this may be considered cheating, but if you have access to cigs, just take out all the tobacco, but leave the filter and then put your weed into the spot where the tobbaco was. its kinda like the way people carve out blunts or cigars.

This works too, or even better, buy black and milds..... just stuff em, no rolling needed

first point is to pull each side of the paper so its taught as you roll.

thhe second is that you are not moulding the tobacco into a shape, you are maneuvering the paper so it does the work for you

just roll lightly, donm't worry about spillage and stop punishing that beast. its all about the love man

easiest and best way i've found it to use a dollar bill. put the paper in the bill then put the mj in it. next fold the bill over but make sure the corners of the paper are even. slowly work it down until it is near the end of the paper. then roll it back up and lick the glue end and you'll have it. i found this to be the best way to roll them tight and it will burn slower
