So this is a bong I made which is very similar to one I had previously with the differences being I made a bowl out of a small food dye bottle neck and the tube coming from the bowl is longer so the smoke travels further through the tube and through the water. You can take huge smooth hits from this and only realise when you breath out a massive lungfull of smoke

even if you cant get one im sure your friends or friends of friends will have a bong or pipe for ya, people are always willing to get you something when your in need, id suggest not using the tinfoil and stick with glass.

From what I understand it has less to do with tube length than bubble size (smaller is better) and length of travel through open water (as a bubble). If you shortened the length of the tube and tapered it at the end (or added a diffuser) I think you could obtain even better results.

Pretty self-explanatory drilled holes for bowl and carb. Screwed bowl from small metal pipe into big hole. Viola, one pipe red-to-go. I use a piece of paper towel over the mouth piece as a filter and to hold in any unused smoke.

because the tube is so long, if you closed off the end in the water, and then along a 1 inch length near the end, poke small holes with a large needle along the hose. Make sure the needle is large enough to make a hole that smoke can pass through, but small enough that you can make about 100 of these holes in that 1 inch length of the tube.

The holes in the tubing should provide an extremely smooth hit, defusing it very very finely.

Thanks! I followed your advice and it works perfectly and the bong is quieter too (perfect for smoking discreetly).

I would suggest a socket for gravity bongs. Get a new clean smaller sized socket and melt it into the cap for the gbong. it works good
