Ok, everyone knows how to make homemade bongs out of 12 oz bottles and such. But my question is, if you make a tinnie bowl for the bong, would the tinnie still release bad chemicals and fumes? And would this be as bad as just smoking out of a tinnie?

It would release the same amount of "chemicles" than a tinnie would. If you are only doing a couple of these bowls, I wouldn't worry at all about the fumes. Also try to just light the buds, and don't hold the lighter over the tin foil for a long time.

ya when i made a homeade bong that had tinfoil as a bowl piece i would just make sure i only lit the bud carefully so i wouldnt inhale the tinfoil

Thanks guys, does anyone know anything other to use instead of a tinnie for a bowl? Something you would find around the house, less harmful.

I guess you cut a part out of a aluminum can, shape it and poke holes in it.....but im guessing thats basically the same, jus a lil more sturdy for the heat. Splurge and buy yourself a bowl, you'll b greatful

tin cans .... x.x grossnessss.........gravity bong is easy to make...half a 2liter bottle...a tinfoil bowl..a bucket filled with water...and your ready to go.

If you or someone places the trumpet or the trombone, you can use the mouthpiece of that as a mouthpeice (it should be brass.\, wjich is safe.
