Ok, my father has a cigarette rolling machine, and a bunch of Top pre-rolled cigarette tubes with filters. If I were to roll a joint with one of these filtered tubes, would the filter have any effect on the potency of the herb? I've heard both sides. One friend said that the filter filtered out the THC, and others said it worked fine. Info would be nice. Thanks.

are you talking about an actual filter like the ones on the ends of say a marlboro, or by filter do you mean its just like a mouthpiece with no actual filtering purpose? if you mean an actual filter, i've noticed that i dont get nearly as high if i empty out a cig or part of a cig and put weed in it. i dunno though.

Yeah, there are posts in the Methods of Use forum at Cheaptalk about this. They'll filter out THC and other things you want, so if you're going to use pre-rolled cigarettes you should remove the filter. If you can't, then you're out of luck.

I don't know, I've left the filter one a few times and never noticed any negative effects. It might be there, but if it is, its so small, IMO I would rather just leave it on.

Don't leave the filter on. Take it out and just put a piece of rolled up cardboard or something similar in there.

using afilter is fine, i still get the nicotene high, and those have cotton filters, actually might be a good idea , makes using the machine easier

Yeah, don't leave the filter on. You can get the filter out by squeezing where the filter meets the paper and rubbing back and forth, it'll push the filter out of the cig. Then you can put a cardboard roach in instead.

I'd just get some papers and roll one though.
