Almost Bliss

I've got a pipe thats got a pretty good amount of sentimental value, and I never wanted to see it broken. All good things come to an end, though, and this morning while smoking I sat the pipe on my lap and stood up without thinking and it smashed into 10 peices on the hard surface of my porch. While I could just go out and get another pipe, I want to repair it. I'm thinking it will be possible if I get glass apoxy and peice it together like a puzzle. Does anyone have any other ideas or think mine will not work?

itd be really hard to fix it while broken into 10 pieces. especially if part of the bowl is cracked, b/c i doubt apoxy fumes in your smoke would be good.

ive had to use surgical tape to fix a pipe, but then again it was only in 2 pieces. good luck.

If I were you I would try to apoxy it up and then just keep it for the sentimental value and not smoke out of it.

or if that is to hard or painful just give the pieces to someone else who wants to scrape them. than they can chuck the pieces into a landfill for you where they belong. Glass pipes are nice but once they are broken they are dead, the best you could end up with is some sort of horribly mulated version of your former pipe, off of which your friends will dread smoking.

Give it some time, and then get a new one. You will like the new one just as much. You should not hold on to that busted ass thing, if it dosn't owe you anything get rid of it.
