I am going to roll my first joint this weekend and am going to be using JOB papers. I have a few questions.

1. The papers have no 'gum' on them or a 'sticky' strip, so do I just lick it to make it stick?

2. Also, do i have to put a tiny piece of crumpled up carboard in the joint where my mouth would be, to create a screen, or can i just 'twist' the joint?

3. At the end of the joint do I just twist the end and lick it so the weed doesnt fall off?

4. How do I light the joint? This may sound really dumb but I have never done it before. Do I just hold the lighter under the joint for 3 seconds until it gets lit and then hit it? Do I have to blow the flame out before I hit it?

No you keep it light while you hit it and if it hurts a little man up.

Just kidding but do a little research, especially if its your first time rolling, you probably should have gotten rolling papers with gum.

2+3. Either twisitng or making a small cylinder of cardboard would work. On the end you'll be lightight, just twisitng it will work fine
4. Put the joint in your mouth, and suck in while holding a lighter to it, like you'd see a cigarette smoker do. Theres no need to "blow it out." if its properly rolled, it should burn like a cigarette basically

Yes. Lick the whole thing where the "seam" is.
Its up to oyu. It might hit a little better with the cardboard, but its more work.
Yes, but before I light mine, I like to bite the very end of the twisted part off (on both sides)
Inhale while putting the lighter up to the end. If one side starts burning way faster then the others, lick your finger and rub it on the side thats burning too fast. Should even things out.

I think everything else has been covered fine, but I'd really recommend using a roach (aka 'cardboard cylinder')... just because it really really helps with the rolling, and makes it much more pleasant smoke overall. Whilst the only filtering properties it has is that you wont get a mouthful of baccy/ganj, it stops the end getting soggy (if your passing it around a circle your bound to have some people bumming the joint). Its not hard to make one... just get a small squarey/rectangley shape from anything cardboard (i usually use train tickets, but i've even used part of a box or Durex before haha)... maybe like 15mm x 15mm.. and just roll it up so that you can breathe through it.

And at the other end, when you have it coned, after poking it down to make the mixture more compact (not too compact or it won't burn very well, especially if your not using much baccy), just twist the excess skin round so it kinda looks like a small white carrot (lol).. some people burn this off berfore smoking, but I give it a bite...

Why don't you just use a blunt like a white owl or a philly? They burn alot longer and I think they are all around better.

I dont even use the cardboard anymore, just twisting both ends makes for a much cleaner roll. Just bite off one of the ends when your ready to spark it.

the cardboard, i think he might be reffering to a french tip. you dont have to do it but you can. remember roll all the way down then flip the flap over creating a cylander. anyway do a search... im sure you'll probably find out how to not only roll a nice joint but also try out a blunt there my favorite
