Was just doing some hotknifes and I figured out the best thing possible to use as a tube - way better than anything else I've ever used - a traffic pylon. Pretty awesome hits, you don't waste any smoke because it's so wide at the bottom. Next time you hotknife use this if you can "aquire" one.

Usually when we hotknife we just use an empty pen thing. But my friend made an ice-hitter out of a 1lt pop bottle and its filled with ice. Hits like a dream.

Yeah I found that the pen would waste a lot of smoke, and that bigger is definitely better in this case. It's definitely worth trying; I'm currently trying to develop a hotknife bong.

Me and my friends have actually done that, we took an old glass coke bottle cut the bottom off, put a stopper with a hole in the middle in the small part of the bottle with a small piece of pipe in it which is connected to a piece of rubber tubbing that goes into another piece of pipe which goes into the bong like a normal bong stem would.

I've always used a 2 liter bottle cut off about half way. Always worked fine for me.
