can someone give me good directions on making a glass bong or bowl..w/e is easier..thnx...its been bugging me and i dont wanna buy one

itll be pretty hard if not impossible to make something out of glass by yourself, unless it is some random thing that can pretty much be used as a pipe with no changing. good luck though.

Get a mason jar. Cut two small holes in the top. attach a bowl to a stem, and put it down into one of the small holes. On the other small hole, attach a mouthpiece (hose, tube, w/e).

That was my first bong. Ahh...memories.

hahaha, this thread made me laugh...i dont know why. thread starter fatti d, are you asking like how to blow glass? cause hell if anyone can just DO that...it like takes a long time to learn the craft and such...a LONG time, i hear anyways, hahaha

I don't mean to sound contradictory or anything, but I know several people that have learned how to blow glass and know how to make bowls, yet haven't been blowing all that long.

When I was at the headshop the other day, the lady that works there was tellin me about a glass blowing class being put on by a friend of theirs. It wasn't just about making bowls - you could do any kind of glass blowing, but if you wanted to make bowls, you could.

You could go buy a blast furnace and some supplies and color rods and see what happens, but I doubt that you could make anything that even LOOKS like a bowl without proper instruction/training.

Soooo...it's hard, but it can't take that long to learn how.

This is more suited for the Homemade Paraphernalia thread so I'll go ahead and move it over there. You could try making a bong out of a wine bottle. Drill a hole in the side somehow stick a down tube in there with a bowl in it and go to town.

to drill through glass you need a special glass drill and im sure itd take some practice but it couldnt be to hard.
