| does anyone know how to drill through glass. i went at it for like an hour today, and only made a really, really small hole. im trying to drill a hole in a red wine vinager bottle(looks exactly like a bong, but with a smaller tube going up) and drilling it takes forever. i have a high speed drill, but its like a wood drill. i dont know if that makes a diff. but any tips would be helpful. ![]()

| I have been wondering about this too, I think diamond bits are what you are supposed to use but they are really expensive. I hope someone has a cheaper idea. |

when you said diamond bit i was wondering if you meant for drilling diamonds or made of diamonds but wait why would you drill a diamond and i doubt there are bits made of diamonds but w/e. you need a glass drill bit, like one made for drilling through glass. | |

| the bits aren't made of diamond, there lined or infused with diamond. if they were made from diamond, they would be sooooo expensive. |

| diamond drill bits arent that expensive, they just have a little bit of very low quality diamond at the tip(not the perfect diamonds used in jewlery, but still just as hard). If you have a dremel tool, those work well too. |

| Well at your local hardware store you can buy a glass drilling bit. Luckily my friend works at the local hardware store and he said he might accidently forget to ring it up. But he said they we only like $5-10 anyways. |
