I've been trying to learn to roll joints for about a week now, and still haven't gotten it. I've been practicing using tobacco. My main problem is just getting the joint to be tight. When I pull the paper down to the edge of the weed/tobacco to roll it up, I can never seem to get the paper to roll right around it. I don't know if it's possible to teach someone how to roll on a message board, but I would really appreciate any help/methods.

Before you start actually rolling the paper around the weed/whatever you should roll the little fold with plant material around with your finger tips. Try to make it into a turd (for a lack of a better word) that's completely round and even. Compact the weed if you need to. Then it should be very easy to just roll it up tight. The key is to make whatever you're rolling into a semi-solid, long, and thin turd. From there it's real easy.

I am not exactly a rolling master myself, but I would suggest billing your joints to tighten them up. Place the joint on a 5 dollar bill and roll it tightly.

First, put the marijuana along your paper, leaving at least 1cm at one edge [this is to make room for your mouthpiece if you want one (I strongly recommend using one because it lets you smoke the entire joint without getting burnt)]

Now for making the mouthpiece: get a small piece of card and roll it up real tight. Then carefully heat one end with a lighter (being careful not to burn it) so that it wont unroll again. Finally put i at one of the edges.

Next, Take up the joint and hold it with your thumb, index and middle finger, spreading the weed evenly with your index figers (don't drop it!)

To roll it, start at the middle and remember, it's all in the thumbs. Don't make it tool tight or too loose! Wet one side withyour tongue and seal it. If it's rolled too loose, compress the marijuana with something thin.

Almost there! twist the end so the weed doesn't come out and voila!

Keep practising and once you've mastered it try making cones! (theyre harder to make, I still don't know how)

Come on man... we are all potheads here. Who has a 5 dollar bill! Maybe a 1 dollar bill But yeah, my friend used to do this cause she couldn't roll for crap and it works pretty good. Just don't make it TOO tight that you can't pull through.

before you do anything, take the paper you're using and make a fold i'd say a little more than 1/4 of the paper. then just make sure you break your weed up good (small pieces, no stems) and dump it in. then you just kinda move the weed around and pack it in with your fingers until you think it will roll evenly and just roll it up. don't worry about making the mouthpiece right now. try to make the first roll just a little over the other side of where the weed is, and from there just go nice and slow. remember, if you rush, the joint will probably suck, so if you take your time it will be all the better when you smoke it. each time you roll a joint you'll get faster and faster with skill. when it's all rolled up and you've licked it or whatever you do to glue it together, to make a nice mouthpiece, twist up one side of the joint so you can put it in a standing position and the weed won't fall out. then take a pen and push in the weed on the open side down to the closed side. this will pack it in and make it fatter, and also give room for the mouthpiece. enjoy that joint

i didnt read what every one else said to do BECAUSE i am lazy

1.get a paper
2.get some chronic
3.break up the chronic
4.put chronic on paper
5.roll weed into a wad about as big as you want the hoot to be with the paper as a tool
6.roll until the back side has lots of paper and the wad is barley on the paper pin it hard roll slow and tight the last time
7.lick it (the paper) stick it (in your mouth) Flick it (the lighter)

And remember you cant be a balla smokin hoots you got to Burn Blunts to be a real g
