Hey y'all. i trawled the net to find all this out a while back, and have perfected the technique i picked up.SO here it is - drew a diagram, and there's gonna be some running commentary.

The container is a bottle. It can be as big or small as you like, the principle is the same. I used a medium sized sprite bottle for mine.

The next bit you need is the biro casing. You need to get the inside pen bit out, and get ureself a hollow tube to work with. Have the biggest end at the joint holding end, and try and widen the hole with ure pen knife. Careful with that.

next, you cut a hole for the tube to go through in the bottle, about 3/5 of the way up. You then cut a 'Carb' about an inch and a hallf higher (if you have the room - u need to cover this hole while u breath in so make it a comfortable height).

Next, you put the tube in (biro casing). You push it in until it touches the opposite side of the bottle, below it. In the diagram it says 'Rest Point' at this point. Find a position where it sits well.

Next, you seal the gap around the edges of the tube, where it enters the bottle, with wet tissue. Soak the tissue, squeeze it off a little, and wrap it around the tube. This stops any air coming in, as the apparatus needs to be airtight.the tissue should mold into place.

When you fill the bottle, you should leave about an inch and a bit between the biro casing and the water level. the water level must be well below the joint between bottle and biro casing.

now, you have your bong! Decorate it if you wish. I once made one with a screen in the side of a coke can using blue-tac and a seethru bit of plastic bottle :P.

USAGE:

To inhale, you cover the carb making it airtight (perhaps with a thumb), lock your lips onto the mouth piece, and inhale. The change in pressure inside the bottle will draw air in through your joint, through the tube, up through the water in bubbles, and the smoke will sit in the chamber, nice and cool. When you start to fill the chamber up, you will get that sweet smoke in. The fuller the chamber, the bigger the hits. To empty the chamber, uncover the mouth piece and inhale through the carb, clearing the chamber. Repeat until you are out of J, and excedingly monged.

This is a much smoother way of smoking for when you are up for a change from a straight joint.

Yeah and another edite - swear im not trying to bump it.

You should try and roll the joint thinly, in an 'L Plate' if anyone knows whtat that is. Double layered rizla doesnt burn well cos of distance, and the pressure cant pull on it enough. So keep it to one paper's thickness.

Alternatively, fix a bowl to the end. I use a cut up coke can sometimes. Careful when cutting!.

And come on, plenty of vies, no comments. talk 2 me. Just while its bumped which is unintentional ofc.

I just made one and smoked a few bowls out of it.

I haven't made one of these since high school but I had the urge to make one and it turned out pretty good.

Only jokin - but yeah i just found one site, then looked at a few more for comparison. The controversial bit is the wet tissue - the water tension blocks out all air, cette fantastique, non? It is really designed for people who don't know how to make 'your standard bottle bong'. I feel people who dont know how to are missing out :P

I change the bong every few days, cos the insides get stained and cahnge the flavour of the smoke. try to change the water every once in a while aswell.
