i have not talked to this guy first hand but he was hospitalized for a while and his doctor told him its the blunt wraps, is what i hear. i saw the kind of blutn wraps he used and it even felt rubbery. The kind i usede to smoke felt like cigar paper, but his were a rubbery kind. so stay away from the rubbery kind that would make sense considering blunts made form cigars don't feel rubbery. Typing this is hard i'am so ****in high right now

Assuming what you heard is right, including the part about the doctor, how is this stuff on the market today? If it's legitimately produced by a company, tell your friend he has an open and shut lawsuit on his hands, and come back and tell us when he's a millionaire.

could this have anything to do with snoop saying hes quit smoking weed considering he was involved with those bluntwrap guys...trying to avoid getting sued or somethin???

anyway i never smoke blunts their lame completely unpractical and poisened with nasty tabacco...even if they are conveinent you could roll joints bigger than blunts with enuf papers...just get some rips choose your own length papers better than sucking down that half cardboard half tabacoo they use to make cigars...u know they arn't ment to be inhaled in the first place...

Smoking rubber wouldn't put a hole in your lung but it'd get you hospitalized. Whatever made it feel rubbery probably burned into a poisonous gas.. some gases eat away at the lungs and stuff.. dry the mucous destroy alveoli. Sounds like a successful lawsuit to me.

...Pneumothorax can be caused by a lot of things. Smoking aggrivates it, drinking heavy, barbituates, tranquilizers (even scuba diving) ...all kinds of things can increase your risk. There is also a genetic condition where people don't have the transmitter/receptor to turn off the chemical whose name is escaping me in the lungs(Tyrosine? Lysine? Been too long!) that regulates it's cleaning cycle. Not being able to inhibit it causes spontaneous pneumothorax in some people. Literally it eats a hole in the lung.

It might be a possibility that a chemical in the blunt rap inhibits this as well -- but it's more likely that it's just a case of smoking really hot substances aggrivating a preexisting condition. Either way, it's a pretty rare event. Happens to less than 10,000 people a year in the US without trauma (like being shot in the chest type trauma).

The body is a wonderful thing ..but you wouldn't believe all the chemicals which do completely different things in different parts of the body. Same chemical completely different effects on other system. It's enough to make you semi-respect doctors for the hell they go through to attempt to learn it all.

Pneumothorax is a collapsed lung...
3 in 1000 people affected by traumatic pneumothorax(ie shot through chest, now have hole in lung)
Spontaneous pneumothorax.. you just exhale, your lung collapses won't fill up again. Cause unknown, smokers are tenative to it.
The only prevention is not smoking.

As a stoner mix up, the possible cause of his pneumothorax being.... "Struck with a BLUNT object"... like a car accident that nice airbag rushes at you at whatever hundreds of miles per hour it does and smacks your ribs, causing a quick exhale, and a nicely collapsed lung.

i'm going to have to disagree with you goat. blunts are the best way to blaze up and that's just the truth. saying they are half cardboard is obviously a lie because cigar papers are made directly from tobacco leaves, that's what they are. it's just my opinion but i think that they taste better than joints and they definitely **** you up more.

in response to the hole in tha lung. it's bull ****. you guys are right he wouldn't be able to breathe at all and he'd definitely need surgery. if it came from a blunt wrap it would be the first case in history because he would definitely die of emphyzema or lung cancer long before he could cause a hole in his lung from smoking. **** blunt wraps anyway though, they are lame as ****. if you can't roll a real blunt then you should go give your chron to someone that can cause you are a *****.

Well tonight my friend dropped by on his way home and said he had some greens and he spotted me a jay since I was out.

Anyway, I decided to roll a small blunt paper joint thing...

Went to the store and spotted a chocolate swisher sweet. now I have seen chocolate phillie blunts (Phillies are superior to Swishers IMO) but not the swishers that are chocolate.

About to smoke my nicely rolled creation.....anyone else tried these?


After licking both (Lol) the swisher tastes WAYYYYY more chocolatey than the phillie.


on a side note I'll be heading outside now to the frozen tundra known as Oklahoma winter to smoke.....

heh philly chocolate titans are ridiculous man they dont even taste like chocolate when burnt with herb. If you are going to smoke a flavored philly blunt smoke a mild vanilla, it has the sweetest smell and taste when lit up especially with the sweet sweet herb.
