this is the best thing i found when your in a bind. bought brass screens are the best. but remember even with the store bought screens and especially with tap screens heat them up red hot to get any toxins or algea off first.

i used a little bit from a vegetable strainer. it was like fly screen but made from some sort of metal. not sure which type but it worked pretty good.

actualy the ones i have look like jacks almost. they work great, and i've used it in a friends metal pipe.

I used tin-foil all the time when I started off using all my homemade lungs/bongs/pipes. But after breaking from weed for a while, I bought a nice little bong and pipe and some brass screens. Far nicer and not as embarassing during a smoke with mates!
