| So my first day back to smoking, we got some decent regs that had some stickiness to them. I really wanted to keep them from drying out, so I chose one of my many regular mason jars to store it in. I was gonna device a way to sit an orange peel, with a little bit of the orange still attached to the peel, inside of the jar with the weed. Then I realized that I could use a large enough slice as the center insert of the lid. I dont know if you can understand exactly what I mean, but mason jars have two piece lids. The ring that screws down, and the center piece of metal. Anyways, Ill take pics later to show you. It worked so unbelievably well, kept the weed very sticky, and make it smell absolutely delicious. I dont know if it altered the taste cause I smoked it in a cigarillo. I think it may be the best storage idea since the plastic bag haha. ![]()

| Why would you need the orange peel if your already using a mason jar? If it's airtight, why would you worry about it drying out? Unless it was already too dry that is..

| Im afraid of it drying out. I had a bad experience with a jar (not mason) that dried out almost an ounce of bud. Ever since then, Ive been too afraid to use a jar again. But anyway, I had that orange sitting out anyway, so I figured itd give it a nice smell while definitely keeping it moist. |
