There made of copper plated in Silver, and i know copper is bad to smoke out of, but im not sure about silver. I used to play Trombone and thought about using my mouthpiece but there like $60 a pop....so i just used a socket from a wrench set untill i got my glass pipe

they work great. I made a sweet homemade bong with a trumpet mouth piece, a maple syrup jar, a short length of tubing, and a straw. A screen with this is a must. As for price, one word...Tagsale.

It's what I have in my bong. Works fine, and doesn't get hot for too long.

agreed. I always use a trumpet mouthpeice, tin foil for a screen, and i put the tube of a pen inside the end of the mouthpeice (not the blowing end) for greater stablity. it works like a charm.
