Hey all. Figured I share my secret to making (IMO) the best gravity bong ever.

It's fairly simple and those of us familiar with constructing gravs will only have to alter one thing. The bowl piece.

For those first timers I'll start from the top.

First get a plastic bottle. I use a two litre soda bottle but any bottle with that standard sized neck/cap will do. Wider necks (like commonly found on 3 litres) won't work.

Now we source a watertight container that you can fit the whole bottle in.

Measure the bottle up to your container. Cut the bottom off so that the neck comes just above the walls of the container. If the container is a bit taller than the bottle no worries, that'll work. You can fill up your container with water, slip the bottle in and set it aside. We're almost there.

Now go down to La Casa de Marijuana (I mean Home de Pot) or your closest neighborhood hardware store and find the garden hose attachments. You want what is called a solid brass sweeper nozzle. You don't want an adjustable one, just one piece, solid brass. It should look like this:


Alright, so you're all set. Pay for the piece, bring it home and drop it on top of the bottle. It's a perfect seal, no fumbling trying to screw/unscrew the cap. Add a screen if you fancy, load 'er up and let 'er rip.

I've found that pulling up quickly works very well with this setup. The tapered stem increases the velocity of the incoming charge so you can position the lighter a few inches above the bowl. Be careful not to tip the bowl with your hand/lighter and break the seal.

Additional tips:
Float a ping pong ball inside the bottle for a water guard.
A downstem can be attached to the bowl to filter your hits.

ok do this if that is too hard get any bottle make a hole on the side close to the bottom

get aluminium foil make a bowl


burn the top till its melting then stick the bowl on top

fill up with water cover the whole at the bottom light the weed on top and then let go of whole wait inhale enjoy

i think it is a good idea to avoid aluminum foil bowls whenever possible.
