I always see books used as stashes in movies. Like, they cut the middle of the pages out somehow..I've been trying for awhile, ruined a few books lol. Anyone have any experience with making one?

Yeah, I made crappy one to hold cash. I thought it was going to be easy, but it s a lot harder than they make it seem in the movies to make them. XD

Man you all are right. I tried to make one in school way back when and failed miserably. I was gonna use it as my lunch box, wouldve been cool.

Actually i've attempted 3 times and i made 2 of them it takes about 2 hours and all i used was a box cutter and the glue if u want to on the sides. I did learn from my first one that you need to cut it all out then glue it and it works good. The inside edges on mine were rough but if you were to take enough time I think it would work good. These are great It's the only thing I will use now hide it with other books then just take it out when I need it. I need to find a bigger book though that one I try to put everything in now is getting really full.

Thanks for the replies. I gave it another try. It took awhile to make (like 2 hours) but I finally "finished. Although it looks like shit, pages are all choppy in the middle..not very clean looking. But I must admit, it's pretty cool and works good =)

I've seen this in some bookstores. Real books hollowed out with a plastic holder inside. They look really authentic, but then someone's going to wonder why on earth you have Bill Clinton's memoirs laying around.
