I had made a steamroller recently and I liked it. So after awhile I started to think of ways to improve it. I didn't like the smoke capacity of it, too small, so I increased it by attaching a gatorade bottle with the bottom cut off, worked really well just had to screw it on, then I tried it, it worked well.
Then I decided I could hit it better if the smoke was cooled.....So I added another bottle to the gatorade bottle to form a crude ice catcher. I then added a screen to the original steamroller part to keep the ice in. I add ice by unscrewing the steamroller and putting it through the gatorade bottle opening, then resrew the steamroller onto the bottle. I tried it with ice that was half frozen and it worked ok for a couple hits, just need to let the ice freeze a little longer. But, it works ok, easier to take larger hits when its cooled by ice I figured, kinda like how water cools the smoke in a bong.
What do you guys think of it?

Tried it with fully frozen ice now and it works great! I can take massive hits and barely feel it when the ice catcher is full. Just an update.

Ok, First you make the steam roller.
*you can make one easily out of a toiletpaper roll and a bowl piece if you have one or you can make your own.
*you can also reinforce the steamroller with tape.
*may substitute other materials for the steamrollers body(maybe more waterproof but has to be the same size)

Second you get a gatorade bottle and cut the bottom off.
*has to be a gatorade bottle because the steamroller w/screen(added later) fit perfectly over the mouth piece.

Next, you screw the steamroller to the gatorade bottle.

Next, you get a water bottle and cut the bottom off, you then stick the mouthpiece into the gatorade bottles bottle hole, where you cut the bottom off.

Next you tape the water bottle that is now in the gatorade bottle to a point.
* you should do a couple dry hits on it to make sure it has no air leaks.

Finaly, The screen, I chose some screen door screen. that I cut into a rough shape to fit around the steamroller's opening that screws onto the gatorade bottle. fit it maybe an inch into the steamroller and folded the edges onto the outside of the steamroller and taped it up so it can't move, and re-screwed it back on the bottle. (not you unscrew the steamroller and insert the ice into the gatorade bottles mouth piece to fill the open part of the bottle with ice.

Just added an attachment to it, in the gatorade bottle you cut a hole around at the bottom right after the original steamroller. The hole has to be large enough for a 20oz soda bottle to screw into.

Once you have the hole cut you screw in a soda bottle just enought that it can stay in, not all the way. Then you tape it in place or seal it somehow. I used some masking tape bieng it was all I had onhand and seems to work well for me.
