I just made my first water bong.... It works, but it also sucks. How could I make a better water bong with out spending money?

I've made bongs like that before and they didn't work as well as a normal bong but if you put ice in there it works pretty damn well. Try making another one, and trying making a bigger bowl it looks a little small. BTW are you sure the where the slide goes into the bottle is air tight? It looks like you have nothing to help keep it air tight (ie. tape)

I always cut an aluminum can, and made it into a funnel, and shoved and taped that into a pen tube. then balled up aluminum and shoved it in the cone to act like a makeshift screen. you could however shell out 10 bucks for a cheap acrylic.

I then realized that plastic is a HORRIBLE substance to make a bong out of if its not made right. i just bought a glass piece.

rather than cut a hole for the stem to go through, try heating it with a lighter till the plastic looks kindsa bubbly/soft and push your downsteam through it, they'll be a perfect fit that way. try using a bigger bottle out of stronger plastic (cranberry juice) and put in a nice big carb.

make a gravity bong, gallon jug and a bowl/stem and a bucket.

Use a hose for the stem.. and make sure everything is air-tight, other than that, there's nothing more to do.. I make similar bongs, its very easy and virtually free to make.

and thats it - gets me ripped every single time.

What's the bowl made out of? looks pretty decent size-wise. That's the hardest part to make nice homemade if you ask me.

Another simple thing to remember is more water = more filtration, so if its not working so hot, try adding a bit more water to smooth things out.

But as has been said, airtight is often the problem with diy pieces. I used qwikset epoxy for a piece i made, seemed to work pretty well and was very heat-resistant (didnt actually try the piece, but i did try to burn some dried epoxy to test it, and it wouldnt even melt which was good.)

i made a great one out of a piece of hollowed out bamboo

had the bottom already, so i just drilled the 2 holes (carb and for down pipe) and made a downpipe and bowl froma bic pen tube, a socket, and some tin foil


works GREAT!

My first water bong i ever made was easy

I stole a rubber stopper from biology class when i was in 10th grade, it had 2 holes in it, perfect size to fit 2 thick straws in it

and i used a Bacardi Bahama Mama bottle and the stopper was a perfect fit for it.

It hit really well, but its nothing compared to the one i have today
