Default Building a good, reliable pipe.

I'v tried many different forms of paraphamilia, including bongs, pipes, and papers, (most of which were homemade and kinda 1-time things, IE penpipes, bottle bongs and whatnot), but i would now like to make my self a good, dependable pipe which i can reuse over and over. I have a home depot near buy, but would like to keep it under $10. Id appreciate it if you could be specific with supplies, so i know it will all fit and screw to gether.

My current idea, is a L-shaped metal pipe, for the bowl, and then perhaps a plastic tube of somthing attacked to that to toke out of (maybe clear, so you can see the smoke, and amuse my self while im baked), but im kinda worried of how to get the tube attached to the l-shaped pipe, and keep it seeled (maybe there are certian connectors or fixtures which can connect the two?), and im worried that maybe when the pipe gets hot, where the tube is connected, it may start to melt?

I know that it would be much from efficient to just go to my nearest headshop, and buy a pipe for $10, but i want to have a little fun with it, and turn it into an enjoyable expirience, and be able to have the comfort of smoking from my homemade pipe.

Thanks a lot for any help/suggestions which you may provite.

I've been using a corn cobb pipe that i got at Rite Aid for 5$. It tastes good and hits good, all you need is a screen.

"here in Poland" last time I checked i didnt live anywhere NEAR Poland, so thats a long way to go for a 10 cent pipe.

find the plumbing section of the home deopt and find some stuff to amuse yourself, just try and steer clear of PVC and i thinks its copper....

yea dont smoke out of copper, i hear it gives you lock jaw, my first pipe was actually a brass angle connector for like 1" plumbing pipe for the bowl and a piece of hard rubber hose for the chamber, yea it was pretty ghetto but i got a real glass spoon now so its all gravy baby

alright since i dont have a digital camera, i just made a little pic in photoshop and this is pretty much what i was talking about with my piece the hose part just screwed on to the male end of the pipe, toss a screen in there (easily found at home depot or in your kitchen faucet) and yer good to go

if you want to make the threads airtight get some plumbers tape it is thin and white and wrap it around twice on the threads and that will keep it tight

nah dude i didnt DRAW that, i just did a google search for brass pipe fittings or something and cut the pics out and pasted em together to make it look like mine, i dunno where to get the rubber hose but you could try like the plumbing dept, theres prolly something hose like (like the hose for the spray nozzle on the sink)
