I don't know if this is the correct place, but it's the best I could find..

I used a brass plumbing fixture as a bowl, and smoked a single bowl with it on a homemade bong.. Do you think anything bad will happen because I smoked a single bowl with the brass? It was only a single bowl after all, only like 4 or 5 hits..
I'm so stupid I didn't check if brass was bad to use in bongs first..
I'm very paranoid about my health xD

Hehe.. I'm so paranoid about stuff like that, I think I'm gonna stick to joints and vapes from now on, unless I can find a 100% glass piece

A lot of pipes are made out of brass. My first chamber pipe was brass. I wouldn't worry too much. It is aluminum cans that are bad.

brass is ok but sometimes people mistake copper for brass and coppers bad

A 100% glass piece shouldn't be hard to find o.o Any headshop should have the standard glass pieces, and unless they're specialized with something else they shouldn't have anything else on them...

It's no longer copper or zinc, it's a completely new metal. Oxygen and Hydrogen bind to form water. Copper and zinc bind to form brass.

That isn't true. O and H combine to form a new compound, H2O. Copper and zinc form an alloy. There is no chemical bond between them. It's like you mixed a bag of white sand and a bag of black sand. They'll form gray sand but there'd be no change to the grains themselves.

People have smoked brass pipes for years without ill effect. Even the fears about aluminum are purely speculation on the fact that Alzheimer's plaques in the brain contain aluminum. I've never heard of anyone actually getting sick from smoking from an aluminum pipe or evidence that aluminum in the environment is a causal factor in Alzheimer's Disease.
