Ok, i had this idea for a homemade bong, but theres one little problem which ill get too in a minute, i start off with 4 2 liter bottles, and put em all together so there all side by side is a square sorta shape (i know not too clear but bare with me). and then cut 2 holes in each side of them so they line up with the 2 other bottles on its side, get something like a toilet paper tube to connect them all, so its basically a four chambered bong, and then put 1 straw or sport bottle tube on each bottle for a hookah, and my problem is this, i want to put the bowl on top, but i dont know how to connect the tops (were u drink out of) of the 2 liters to connect all up too one bowl, now if you even understood this i need some suggestions to get it to work.


so it basically a 4 chambered hookah but i need to connect the bowl to all four bottles from the top.

Being a bored pothead in arizona, I made quite a few bongs on my own out of things around the house. Here's a few pointers I learned.

1) Wood glue.
2) Copper tubing will work for a disposable pipe stem, and will fit the bottom of most bowls.
3) Aluminum is multi-purpose. Use it for a bowl, use it to fill space around the hole the stem goes into, use it to make a bowl on a steamroller. it's all good.

You should be able to get splitters that go from 1hose-4hoses at your hardwarestore.

Couple of things I have learned myself...


1) Don't use aluminum, it creates vapors that are terrible for your lungs.

2) Hot Glue or Duco Cement works well.

3) Apple Juice bottles work really well for Ghetto Bongs.

4) Joints = Bad ; Bongs = Good

Aluminum Foil is Bad.

Some say that it gives off toxic fumes when in contact with a direct flame. They say these fumes can cause alzheimers (SP?).

Stay away from using aluminum foil when making bowls.




As for things to use, a Hot Glue Gun is the best. Makes anything air tight and dries real fast when cool water is run over it.
