Yo I have a problem rolling j's. When I roll my **** up, I usually roll mine nice and tight into a perfect cylinder. But for some reason, whenever I take a hit, I find myself having to burst a lung just to get a good hit because the **** burns extremely slow. I've tried loosening up the joint but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

hey, did u try cuttin your weed up finer? that usually works for me. all so try a thinner paper like dont use exports ( or other normal cig papers) use the thin rice paper ones n stuff there better. and also my frined bought a rolling machine jus a simple one wher eu put your green in with a paper turn the thing and its done ( $5) and it works like a charm

Use and old coffee (clean) grinder. Then roll that up. One paper, btw.

(and after 30 years I can roll a dube that looks like an unfiltered Camel!)...would be to make sure you always have a tad more on the ends than in the middle! It REALLY helps!

Do THAT, and you'll be the designated 'joint roller' (not that it's a GOOD thing! ) of your peers!

Yesterday I was thinking, "man, there havent been any threads on rolling joints in awhile" and look what I find. I cant really help you as I have no weed. I can roll a joint, but not without the main ingredient.

The problem, to me, sounds like what jebus said...
...or maybe the opposite. I have cut it up 'too fine' before and had problems hitting it, usually from a combination of either 'too fine' or 'not fine enough', and rolling the joint too tight.

Advice: Evenly pack the weed into the paper (I only use Zig Zag 'whites'). Start in the middle, in a gentle rolling fashion, and work your way out to the ends. Be very gentle, so you don't get it too tight. Is your joint 'running'? If so, don't lick the paper so much, or lick the back. I have heard that licking the back is better, becaused you don't lick the 'glue' off. I don't know though, both work for me. As a last resort, some weed is hard to smoke in a joint, use a bowl . Oh well, hope I helped... Stay high!

AMEN! I never buy anything else! Well...except when Thai sticks were plentiful, an extra large Esmerelda paper would cover an entire stick VERY nicely! Just take the little string off, roll it up...and pull the stick out before ya crimp the ends!

And it's so true about the consistency of the weed. If it's dry it's gonna run and burn like crap...but if it's a bit moist you should have a nice 'session'!

Guys, I don't know about you, but I've heard stories of people who can roll up j's one-handed on a windy day and it's a fact (no kidding). How the **** do they do that?????

I've seen some slick tongued cowboys put a paper on their tongue, pour the tobacky on there, and then INSIDE their mouth roll a decent smoke...already lit!!!

But yeah, I can roll some nice ass joints. Crazy horses method is about the same as mine. Except I lay all my weed out in the paper, then start rolling. But I do work my way to the sides. Just find out how you like rolling them and practice, practice, practice. I'm also the 'designated joint roller' in my groups and it isn't too bad... but when kids start asking to buy joint(They all demand 3 joints for $10 now! Grr) it gets annoying. But I only have the dankest weed so screw them. I'll smoke them out but I ain't selling doobs at that price, my weed's far too dank.

Btw, how do you guys 'seal' up the ends of your joints? My friend who's really good at it just put weed right to the very brim of the joints and the ends are a tad bit open, but nothing falls out. I sometimes do this, but if I'm going to the gym/pool I get a little sketched that everything will fall out. Plus I may not want to smoke that much weed at one given time.
