Here is the deal. I work at a bar and i'm tired of throwing away all of the bottles at the end of the night. Yesterday the light bulb went off and soi have decided that i will just "steal" the empties and make pipes out of them. I have been extremely unsuccessful so far trying to melt them and then form a hole. What can i do or what advice do the "experts" have? I have tried looking around the internet and I have found nothing.

You need a glass drill and some kind of slide Just make the hole the correct size and seal up the slide with hotglue or anything really.

i always use liquir bottles for gravity bongs.

151 bottles have two little notches on the the bottom.

I bang a nail into both and water flows out of both making a more powerful suction than 1 hole.

Aside from those drills, i find that a torch works just fine. i think better than the drill actually because you can shape it so much better and make them look kick ass if you know what your doing. HOWEVER it's a lot more dangerous than using a drill. know what your doing. Luckily most bottles wont shatter when they get really hot (pressure build up from the heat) and they'll just crack and break, no flying pieces. some do though, the really cheapos

and typically you need a slide. I've been unsuccessful and making a slide myself unfortunately....

I would advise against trying to use a torch because glass will break if heated unevenly. Get a drill bit suitable for glass from any hardware store and use it to drill the holes necessary to make a bong.

if you leave the cap off and with the head (where the cap would be) up it will let the hot air rise and works great, just gotta take it nice and slow, and doing it right i've never had one break (unless i was testing the limits of them)
