|  Even if it were proven tomorrow that smoking out of cans was 100% healthy, I wouldn't want to do it unless it was a last resort. Though at this time, no studies have proven any links between "can smoking" and serious illnesses or diseases, I find it DAMN unpleasant, and though some have accused me of it being a placebo effect, I've gotten headaches the last few times I've efer resorted to smoking from a can. AS a decade-plus smoker, I'd like to believe I'd recognize the placebo efect if it were indeed the case. Regardless, the headaches, and the harshness of the smoke and resulting throat irritation have made can pipes completely worthless to me. I won't smoke out of them. I'd rather not be high at all than deal with headaches and irritated throats. With such a variety of ways of smoking (natural, purchased, or home-made) I see no reason for it. I like getting hiogh to be pain free,and that just doesn't happen when you mix me and pop cans in an attempt to get high

| Thanks for the responses, I normally just use a water bottle bong now, but i'm buying a pipe off a friend soon so i shouldn't have to resort to cans anymore. |
