I dont know, but could there be any problem with using a seashell as a bowl for a spoon i am making? ive already made it, the shell dents in quite a lot (i dont know what kind it is( and i drilled a role at the lowest point of the shell.
sorry i have no pictures.

Hrm. Can it hold up to the heat?? Make sure you've cleaned it good too. I don't know if it's a health hazard.. Either way post pics if you can

idk i would just try it to see if it works. my friend made a pipe out of a conk shell onetime, and it worked good

My brother once made one of those from a seashell we found in California. It didn't need any tinkering, it was ready as soon as it was washed out.

I don't think there could be any hazards, man. Aren't shells just old bone?

I think it depends on where the shell comes from. I know around here, you can't eat shellfish and crustations from the James River, Because it is so polluted. I beleive its called Red tide, Im not positive. So I would throughly clean out any shells to smoke out of.

Im sure it would make an awesoem piece though. Nothing like mother nature helping to get you high
