A bong made out of a 15 minute trip to the hardware store and 8 bucks...

umm, how do i keep the smoke in the bong and not my lungs, so before i carb it i can pull multiple times?

If I understand you correctly then what you do is keep the stem in and inhale through the mouthpiece, cover the mouthpiece and remove the stem (finger over the hole) exhale and clear the bong. That is what we used to do on a bong that was too big to one-hit.

I used my friends account to post that (with his consent, on his PC).
actually what i meant was that, when hiting the smoke went all the way: bowl>stem>water>chamber>neck>lungs. but i though the smoke was supposed to remain in the chamber until i carbed it (or un-carbed it, idk)
then it would all pull in. my chamber wont even fill with smoke....

a few reasons your chamber might not be filling: I would say that the likely culprit is a shotty tape job, letting too much air in for the chamber to fill. id say re-tape, it,or just tape it more if you have the slightest inclination that that is the problem. also, it could be that your carb is simpley not at all airtight, after all its a juice jug lid theres no reason it should already be airtight. or maybe your just sucking too hard, try taking longer, lighter tokes to get the chamber to fill then when you unplug the carb give it hell.
