So me and my friend both work for a moving company, and we work together quite often. We always see stuff in peoples' homes and we are like Oh My God that would be awesome to smoke out of!

So at this one lady's house she had this majestic looking purple whalebone (one of those hugely tall glasses that hold about 60 ounces of liquid in them- you usually see them on cruises and such)

I aksed the lady if i could have it, and she told me she was going to throw it out and i was like... lol so we took it and after work, we stopped at a local glass shop and bought a female slider and a male bowl piece, as well as a rubber piece for both.

15 minutes of working the rubber piece onto the slider with soap and hot water (the male had a small rubber stopper to be worked on as well), cutting the slider hole, and sanding the top smooth produced:



what you see resting on the top of the bong, is the actual top of the bong (its upside down). the mouth opened up into a huge funnel, which is impractical for a bong because you cant have an air-tight seal when you hit it. So we cut the top about 9 inches down, which left us with a nice bong a foot and some inches, and a nice cone/funnel for blowing shotguns or taking knife hits of kif. we sanded the ends of both smooth and this was our 15 minute bong (oh it hits like a champ too)
