Question about lightbulb vape

Hey everyone, first post. [actually,second: I mistakenly posted this in the Vaporizer section, rather than this one - sorry]

Here's my question: so I've made a lightbulb vaporizer. Haven't used it yet, though; no matter how much I rinse it out with soap and water, there is an odd, plasticy smell that comes out of it.

My guess is that I should be concerned about/wary of this... right?

I made a light bulb vape once. It sucked. And it tasted like plastic.
