I know canadians that have bought tickets to hawaii, lived and worked here illegally. I don't know of any hawaii residents fleeing to canada, but then again I don't know everything. Peace, HN-

Very Very few Americans move to Canada. Far more Canadians more to the U.S......I wonder why? Could it be that Canada isn't the Uptopian wonderland some leftist want it to be? I personaly know no one who has moved to Canda from the U.S....but I personaly know 4 native born Canadians who have moved to the U.S. from Quebec......to Maine so it isn't about the weather.

Hey, man, I'm seriously thinking about moving to Canada. Call me a leftist if you wish, but I don't label myself. I hate America for its values and associations. I guess it is all relative to one's personal values... if you're a selfish money-grubbing dick, then of course you'll love America. If you have a conscience and actually care about other people, like me, you probably won't be satisfied living in an individualistic capitalist state. Sure, there may be more selfish assholes out there than caring pacifists, but that may be a product of America itself...

Personally, I don't suffer from the "mean world" sydrome that is perpetuated by much American media, so I suppose I'm an exception to your claim.

I have to call all the people I've helped out and let them know they've been hoodwinked! I was really after their money.

I am all for every person who feels inclined to state gross generalizations concerning an entire country moving out of said country.
It would only improve the citizen base.

Uh... that WAS a quality post that you butchered... Seriously, though, some of you people need to get a friggin' grip on reality... Power doesn't make a country good, it just makes a country powerful... This is why so many people hate Americans... Either you are incredibly naive or outright ignorant. A lot of good stuff came out of Rome, but look what happened. America reached its peak after the end of WWII and it is definitely on the decline. If you can't recognize this, maybe you should educate youself instead of spouting your biased speculations. I'm not saying there aren't good intentions, but they are certainly bastardized by capitalistic greed. Sheesh... I can't believe how many people fall victim to the rhetoric of self-promoting demagogues.

And BTW, I HAVE been to Canada, and I would live there over the United States if I was currently in the position to do so.
