Who is Steve Irwin?

Oh no really? He is the crocodile hunter, from Australia. He was an animal conservationist. His family has a zoo in Australia. He was on numerous television shows! He was very (some call it brave) I call it careless when working around very dangerous animals. He called it the love of the game. He was stabbed through the heart by a stingray while filming a documentary in the ocean. He was really young, in his 40's

ok..all he had to say was crocidile hunter. I remember hearing about it. The "Crikey" guy. Does Austrailia have the biggest population of crocs? Croc hunter, croc dundee...Can someone answer that question....seriously? I figured Africa, the Amazon, would be croc crazy....maybe Florida. I think Ill look up which country/cont. has the largest croc population.

40's you say, damn ripe age for a croc hunter if you ask me.

People are like "man you wouldnt believe who died, the croc hunter" and at first it was kinda sad but you know we shouldnt be suprised.

I remember watching his show 4 or 5 years ago and being like hows this guy still alive.

...is what was shocking, I mean a freakin stingray. I've handled them for about five years and been bitten and stabbed by them and a couple minutes of pain and bleedingg was it, but for the the barb to punture his chest is really against the odds. Nearly impossible. It was his time to go. And what may seem careless to veiwers isn't really the case when you understand the animals you're working with. It's not like he was my idol or anything, from what I hear the family zoo is actually kinda sad. Oh and Australia has a very large population of crocs, huge ones. Florida has gators. Main difference is the head and jaws.
