Hi everyone,

New here to the wonderful world of marijuana. Started up last summer and I'll smoke a joint once a week.

Quick question. One, I just had surgery so I'm on percocet. I'm wondering if it's alright to smoke up while on pain killers?

Next. I'm looking at a new way of smoking. Im looking at buying a bong or a vaporizer, the vapor brothers one to be exact. I was talking to my friend about it and he thought it was a dumb idea for me to spend 200 to just smoke up.

What do you guys think?

It says on Your perscription,"Not to be taken with alcohol". Percoset should help relieve the pain. I've found, that if the perscription dosen't quite work, the physoactive
part of THC could make Your pain More promanent! If the percoset IS working, on The Pain, marijuana can make Your relaxation,and recovery less taxing. The Main Problem, using both, is You may not be used to the combined effect. You could hurt Yourself, just tripping along (pun intended). Great for Rest ,&, sleeping!

Don't know what to tell you on combining percs and MJ, but if your trying to decide between a bong and a vape, I would go with the vape. It's much healthier and better tasting IMO. Check out the Vapor Warez products. I've heard better things about Vapor Warez than about Vapor Bros. I'm not positive but if your spending $200 on either the Vapor Warez or Vapor Bros. then your paying too much. You should be able to find them for between 120 - 150.

I cannot even make an educated guess on the percocet issue.

Get a bong, you only smoke couple times a week, right? Go buy yourself an 80$ bong and spend the rest on weed. There is no point in owning a vaporizer for health reasons unless you are smoking 3+ days a week.

As far as vapes on the vapor bros website they go for 154.99. Plus 15 dollars shipping. So about 170. I'll take a look at vaper warez but are you saying I can find them cheaper elsewhere?

Just got prescribed percocet not too long ago for a serious toothache.

It's really strong stuff, for sure.

I smoked pot while taking them with no problem, but be warned, you get real fucked up.

If you're new to pot, I would say wait till you run out of pills.

Yeah, Like Buzz said you can find them all over Ebay and a lot of the sellers throw in some nice extras. If you want to spend a bit more $150 will get you a Purple Days Vape, but I don't think I've seen them on ebay. Just go to their site.

It should make the pain killers more effective.

I'd get the VaporWarez machine rather than the VB. It's very similar, but has a better heat source, an on/off switch, and a better warranty. You can get one, delivered, plus several useful extras, from sellers on eBay for $120.

Your friend is very short-sighted. I find that I get twice the mileage off a given amount of weed, vaporizing versus burning. If you vape weed that costs $300/oz, it will more than pay for itself with the first oz vaped.

I've combined the two quite a lot in dealing with long term chronic back pain.
I prefer to go with pot alone as it works quite well unless I'm in really severe distress. In that case I'd just ease into whatever pharmacutical you're taking, percocet or otherwise, so you can guage the right amount.
That said, I've never had any problem combining the two.

I agree that the VaporWarez (I have the VaporBros which is virtually the same) is a solid investment. Personally I would purchase (and I have) the Purple-Days vape.

If I were you though I'd take the opportunity to look through our Vaporizer forums at all the reviews of vapes you might be interested in. It's well worth the time spent.
And, of course, if you have any questions along the way we're always a keystroke away to help out...
