Hello,

I am going on a 10 day cruise to Alaska and was wondering if anyone knows how easy or hard it is to take maybe a 1/4 with me? I would not risk it if security is like an airport, but since I have never been on a cruise before, I really don't know...

If anyone has been on a cruise recently (preferably International), and can tell me what the security procedures are, I would be very grateful. I was thinking of holowing out cigarettes and packing them with herb, but if security is lax, I would rather just throw all my gear into my suitcase and go!

I've been on a 7 day Caribbean cruise, and remember that the security was quite lax when coming on the cruise ship after a day's excursions at Cozumel, or New Orleans. I wasn't searched or anything when re-entering the cruise boat. I don't remember the initial security though, when first boarding the ship. I think you'll be fine though.

Mind you, I wouldn't recommend making any illegal drug purchases in Mexico.

Hey mate I went on a med cruise & had the packet up my ass(long style) but we never got searched.

Just use the cabin safe to store your stash btw it was only me smoking it

Hit me up if you go to juneau, Alaska i work for a zip line and mostly tourist off the ship go on it. everybody that works for it smokes, exept the boss. ha

Correct me if im wrong cuz i probably am, but i thought i heard that weed was legal in Alaska.. ??

Correction: Marijuana is greatly decriminalized in Alaska, but remains illegal. 1 oz or less in your home or residence goes without a penalty though. Learn More.
