well then, now that ive got your attention, let me tell you a tale, of betrayel and torn loves..... between that of wich i love....and my future. im 15. my dad knows i smoke pot, and im almost 100 percent sure, he used to be a hardcore druggy...i mean like,coke,lsd,pcp....the works..... my sister tells me this...now, dont get me wrong, hes a great dad,loving,caring.....and hes talked to me before about drugs..weed only though. now, he has changed im sure, because he has been getting on my ass SOO much lately...hes telling my mom that ive become a pot head....whenever i ask him for money he tells me "fine, but im just contributing to the problem"...and, hes partly right...i do blaze quite often.... but fellas..... the time has come to put my foot down..... im gonna stop smoking weed.... its already been 4 days, and i can feel the urges coming back...ive sold all my stash, but my next door neighbour is a huge dealer, and i can get it off him any day i want.... but im staying clean..... hopefully, it will help my marks, and maybe i could get some respect from my dad..... but man o man....food was never so good.... and my god, the fun....i could watch old sesame street episodes for hours on end....and be entertained..... that crazy yellow bastrd.....farewell..... if anyone else is considering this, or has accomplished this...please, let me know....good bye, sweet leaf..........

You might want to read my post in the General Topics section entitled "Is it Necessary?"

I have quit, but not for a family member, rather for personally rationalized reasons. Believe it or not, there ARE much more productive things to focus your energy on, and the trick is getting out there and finding them. Good luck and I really think you should check out that thread.

I wish you good luck. I recently quit another drug that I won't mention here
because I realized it was turning my life into crap.

I stopped smoking weed for 5-6 months, just started up a little bit again.

Let me just tell you this. Get a discman, a stack of cd's, and a nice pair of headphones. Life just turns dull and un-inspired for a little while, music helps. But other than that, it isn't too hard compared to other drugs.

Ha! My mom just found out I'm a pothead, but im 20 and have been doing it right under her nose for nearly three years now. I got caught 'cause I left my pipe and my papers sitting on my bed the other day. She's one of those uber-religious people, and she now blames all the problems in my life on the fact that i'm "living in sin". But it probably is a good idea to lay off the stuff for a while until you get some trust back, especially if you're only 15. Trust me it's worth it!

How's this for a story. I love marijuana, but the system wants to take it away. I'm currently on juvenile probation for possesion and paraphernalia. i have random drug tests. The only times i can smoke are when i'm going out of town for a little and wont be tested. Sometimes i just do 1 hit. but i've pretty much had to quit smoking
