Hey Mikey! Welcome to the site. Actually I'm new myself, I thought it was cool that you dropped in to say hello before you started posting! I wish I had thought of that. I'm a 44 year old stay at home mom, I guess I'm here to break the stereotype that we can't raise decent, law abiding citizens. live in nice homes and have a tight relationship with Jesus! and still get high! You keep your head in your books now ya hear? We'er gonna need people like you in the near future.

Yay for the smart stoners! I'm also a straight-A student (in high school though). I plan on furthering my education at a good college, while still toking it up...so I admire what you are doing. It is very refreshing to see a decent number of intelligent, intellectual people on this site because where I live it is a rare occurence.

True that. I make mostly A's and a few B's and smoke almost every day after school. Homework is way more fun while high and it keeps me focused on whatever I'm doing. Ppl need to start realizing...stereotypes(lazy, unproductive losers) make potheads look bad. I wear tie dye and have long hair but I work and make good grades so its all good.

I too am a stoner who is not lazy or stupid. I graduated Valedictorian of my high school and was awarded a very lucrative scholarship to the college I now attend (Both in Arkansas). I didn't smoke at all in high school, although the vast majority of my close friends did. I was around it often and always said no, instead opting to get beligerently drunk. I had been going out with a girl for 3 years and was madly in love with her. She didn't really want me to smoke and that, coupled with the fact I had only a small curiosity about it, precluded my smoking for some time. I found out, unfortunately, that the girl I loved and thought I knew everything about, I didn't know at all. The breaking up of my relationship had me seeking relief in whatever way I could, including marijuana. Since then I have become a daily smoker and realize that weed offers so many things and can be a great way to unwind or explore things about yourself. I don't have to smoke to be happy, I just enjoy smoking. Thanks to everyone for opening my mind and making me realize that marijuana is not bad, just untaxable.
