Banzai

Hey ya'll, the name is Banzai and I'm posting as a representative of a toking tribe at the University of Alabama.

I'm a female junior English major with a double minor in creative writing and international studies, and I've been smoking marijuana pretty steadily for almost two years. (I started the summer after my first year in college.) My father was a dealer when he was my age, and my brother also smokes, so we've been known to toke together. I'm also considering starting a small grow in the woods behind my apartment complex.

I love art, writing, music, poetry, movies, and theater. Pretty much anything in the vein of creative expression. I've been an artist for eight years and a writer almost as long, and I hope to join the Peace Corps when I get my MFA.

I'm a serious scholar and I go out of the way to make sure my smoking doesn't get in the way of my studies, and I hang out with like-minded stoners that skip class and throw crazy parties, but also know when to put the pipe down and pick up a textbook. I don't like to perpetuate the "burnout" stoner stereotype. (I actually got accepted into the Air Force Academy last September, but turned them down because they drug test too often. )

Other than that, I'm a pretty typical pothead. The kid that comes into class about five minutes late every day with sunglasses and an Mp3 player, reeking of the green goddess and always sitting in the back of the classroom.

Chances are, if I'm in class with my laptop, I'm cruising marijuana.com instead of listening to the prof.
