New to forum and to weed.

Hey everyone. My name is Marc and I'm from good old new jersey. Originally from Syracuse, spent most of the 90s there. Anyway, I just got into Pot in the beginning of the summer when I joined a pretty kickass band, and I love it. I actually smoked more pot before I was able to get high than when I started to get high, which I find ironic. I usually rely on my band mates for weed (they live elsewhere and the stuff in my town is beat), but I'm starting to get some connections. I'm really a fan of glass more than anything, and I'm looking to get my own piece soon (even rolling papers are illegal in my town).

Rolling papers are illegal? How's that work? People use them to smoke cigs all the time...

Welcome to the site.
Are you sure they are illegal? that is crazy. They are sold as "cigarette papers", but 90% of people don't use them for that.

I'm new to weed and the forum too, so a big welcome from me! BTW I am very near Syracuse, so it's nice to see someone who used to be near me. Small world!

Dude, you have to enjoy these highs if you plan on smoking often. Once your brain gets used to it, it'll never be the same again, but still very awesome.

As for the papers question...I must also add that I live in a town that is two square miles, but contains 11 churches. It is also "damp"...not quite dry to the point where alcohol cannot be consumed, it just can't be sold. So I don't know. Really a Christian town without a lot of culture.

Sorry.. just saw that it's New Jersey.. lol..
I use to think that my city was a bit prudish for weed too.. it's a fairly big city, but it's not something I saw. Now that I smoke a lot of weed I have found that so many people that I have known over the years (even some family) smoke weed regularly or at least socially.
Not to mention the people I now notice speaking openly about it (and rightfully so).
Now that you smoke too you will probably notice it a lot more too. But who knows.. maybe it is God's Town
