Well First of all I live with my grandma and had moved in with her about 2 years ago. I had a medical card but it expired sense I quit work to help grandma more.

I have a lot to say but will make it short so its not a long read, I have recently lost my father to a drug OD (no need for sympathy , I have had enough haha) and sense then I have told myself that once granny passes on which could be tomorrow or in 10 years sense shes 90 but keeps herself in good shape and exercises everyday, that I would devote myself to promoting medical marijuana for those is need.

I want to do this because I kick myself for not telling my dad about it instead watching him kill himself with all those stupid pills that don't do any good. I have already started by telling my grandma that I use it and have even taken her to my marijuana doctor and got her a prescription for it.

She has yet to really try it but I gave her a cookie a while back and she said it really helped her pain but she felt a drag when she was coming down. I must add this is one of my favorite memory's because she was laughing and just feeling relaxed , it was good to see her not upset about her son or anything else just enjoying the night.

So thats where I'm at , I don't have money sense I don't work so I am unable to proved her some medicine sense the Club in town here is outrageously expensive @ 35 dollars for 2 grams.....

So I really plan on becoming apart of this community and broaden my mind with more knowledge of marijuana. I really really plan on making a difference when I'm on my own and help others around me.

Umm I suppose that explains my story and I cant wait to meet people here and I am going to try and log on everyday.

That's nice to hear you've been helping your grandma out and I had a smile thinking of grannie relaxing with a yummy cookie.

Welcome to the boards! There is a great deal of good information available here and a lot of good people who will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Different strains of marijuana have different effects. You might want to get your grandmother one of the Sativa-dominant strains which wouldn't have so much of the come-down effect. Also, eating weed tends to have more of a sedative effect than smoking. Vaporizers have even less than smoking.
