This is a question for either Slate or Nitehift.

Lets say I was taking a flight that did not cross international borders (ie. domestic flight within the country) and I was caught having a small amount of weed on my person (say, less than an ounce). What penaties will I face? Will I face jail time, or just a fine, or both?

Also, at what point can airport security perform a strip search?

Transporting across state lines is usually worse than just possession.

As for the rest of the questions, it really depends on where you're caught at.
