So it looks like I'm going to be flying in a couple weeks... and I'm not sure why, but I started thinking about residue...

I work on my computer basically all day, and sometimes when I vaporize, I'll blow the vapor over the top of the screen...

I know sometimes they wipe your laptop off to test for bomb residue... but what about drug residue?

Also, sometimes I keep my bottles of weed in my bag's front pocket when I transport them home... this is the same bag I'll be taking with me... will the scent stick there at all?

Keep in mind, I'm not taking any actual herb with me... I'm just thinking about residue and scent.

I figure that... but I'm more curious if there is a potential for confrontation and what not... so I know if I shoudl try to get there early lol.

Don't want to be late for a family event because I was "detained due to drug residue" lol.

I'm going to spray some fabreeze on my bag today and wipe down my screen =D

I think you'll be okay. Plastic doesnt really carry scents like fabrics. Your backpack should be fine too, I'm assuming you store your weed in a baggie so their shouldn't be much, if any 'residue' in your backpack.

I'd say your just being a little paranoid, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I don't think you have much to really worry about if your not bringing anything illegal with you
