This look like the place to find out what I need to know! I hope you can help. I want to design a web site meant to sell a new organic nutrient water for marijuana plants. Are there any laws or hassles associated with openly selling to marijuana growers? Do I have to pussy foot around with the copy so as not to get in trouble or can I come right out and say it without fear of legal consequences? Would speaking to the medical marijuana community make my idea more problem free? Judging by the name of this site, I assume you have experience in this matter. If there are any other resources out there that might have more information, please advise. Thanks for your time!

I would not recommend openly stating that the product you are selling is specifically for marijuana growers. You are headed for trouble if you go that route IMO.

Although technically i think you should be ok, i am not a lawyer... and i don't think that the law would stop anyone (ie the police) from doing what they want to do, like shutting you down or making life VERY difficult for you

Growing supplies are completely legal. The items you're interested in have a million other uses and all of them are legal.

| Thank you everyone for taking the time to answer my question! I actually did quite a bit of research on this topic and thought you might like to see what a lawyer had to say. (I can't believe you can really get free legal advice online!) Here's the link: Selling growing supplies to medical marijuana community - Criminal Law | LawGuru I'm sure others will be glad to have the info. Peace! |
