| Cops in my area have a list of people they would like to bust for weed (the school provides them the list of people to look for). I know for a fact that I have never been on the "list"...but recently my friend got in trouble and the cops saw me hanging out with him and getting in my car and everything so there's a chance I could be on the list now. If I get pulled over for some weird reason (I've been driving for about three years and I've never been pulled over) what is the best thing to say to a cop if he asks to search my vehicle? I keep a pipe and my stash in my car so a search would be bad, but I can't keep my stuff anywhere else. The only reason I ask this is because I have heard that saying no in some cases is probable cause, so you're getting searched either way. Is there any way to say no without giving cops a reason to search your car? And does saying no to a search ever give cops probable cause? |
