|  NEED HELP - Are there sweat tests at border entry points? Do they test your sweat for mj at the border and deny you entry if you test positive? I am returning to the US soon and the last time I did (1 year ago) there was nothing but I heard some news about sweat tests for mj use 48 hours prior to entry. Is this true and any advice on how to avoid detection, other than the obvious of not smoking? thanks |

| never heard of this, but to avoid protection best way is not smoking. your not going to mask it. PS: why would you be sweating driving to the border??? |

| i've flown in and out of the US several times, twice within the past year, and i've never experienced anything remotely close to this at customs.  i've never even heard of it.

| thanks for the help. Sorry for the confusion, I have not been to the US in one year. I have not been referring to my smoke habits (habitually, cough, cough). Thanks for all the help, I heard this a while back, but never actually saw anything on it. |

| There is no way they can deny your entry because you have a little mj in your system. You may be thinking of the puffer machine that you stand in, and it basically smells you for drugs, bombs, and weapons. |

| I've never heard of a "sweat test" for marijuana. Saliva, blood, hair, and urine, yes. Sweat, no. Very little in the way of THC metabolites are excreted in perspiration, so that would be an ineffective way of testing for them.
