I was involved in a car wreck with a police car and another driver while carrying approx. 1lb 3 oz of the plant, 1 lb in 1 bag, 3 oz in 3 seperate bags. All I got was 'felony possession", no intent to distribute. I'm 20 yrs old and this is my first offense, i'm in Indiana, anyone else been in a similar rut and can share some advice?

Guess I should clarify, they didn't find the plant on the scene of the accident, but when I called the tow place to "get my books for class" out of the truck, the tow truck place, or the police JIMMIED MY DOOR OPEN, and said they were looking for the VIN number of the truck, when they smelled the plant. Also, when the police found it in the truck, I had already signed the trucks title over to the tow place cuz my truck was totaled, so basically wondering if i can get out on a technicality, i have a good lawyer who've i spoke to about this and he says doubtful, with all the loopholes they have in the law...but serioulsly, what right do they have to jimmy my door open without me even bein there, violently opened it cuz i had it locked.
