| Last night at about 6p.m. my good friend had three cops come to her home, push their way in and went right to her 3 ounces and took it along w/ all of her parafanlia. Yes she does provide her friends with smoke. The cops did not arrest anyone just took the items, assuming for evidence to build a case. I'm fairly certain they are going to tap her phone if they have not done so already. We do not think any phone tapping lead to this incident. Instead we suspect a non-smoking former friend who has done evil things was the one who reported her. So now we are trying to set up a new process, but I'm wondering would her phone already be tapped? I know they need to take their evidence (enough to be a felony in MN where we live) and get a warrant signed by a judge in order to make that happen. But possibly that could be done right away as I assume the police want to get on her quickly to find out how many people she sells to and who she gets it from. Any thoughts? I'm seeking an answer first off as to whether you think: 1. a court order/warrant could have been signed by a judge in the one day so that her phone was tapped immediately or could that take a few days? We need to direct callers to her phone to a new location and procedure for obtaining the goods. But are worried her phone is already tapped and then cops will hear the details of the plans...
